Jeremy D. Bertsch received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of South Dakota in 2002, majoring in psychology and sociology. While there he led many student groups, including Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. He then received his Juris Doctor degree summa cum laude from Valparaiso University in 2005. While there he was a member of the honors program, an editor of the law review, finished in the top 3% of his class, clerked with both a federal and state court judge and worked for the legal aid organization in one of the most economically depressed areas of the country. He has published an article on class action certification and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

After graduating from law school Mr. Bertsch worked for a firm in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. His practice emphasized representing injured people, but he also did work in the areas of business law, family law and criminal defense. He then worked for a firm in Melbourne, Florida, exclusively representing people injured by the negligence of another.

Mr. Bertsch is now an associate with Sellars, Marion and Bachi, P.A., and has been with the firm since 2008. His practice is devoted to representing injured people as well as insurance defense. He handles all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including auto and trucking accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, premises liability, products liability and medical malpractice. Notably, he has represented clients in a significant amount of cases involving Chinese drywall, including many in Florida state courts as well as the Chinese Drywall Multi-District Litigation in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern District and Middle District of Florida. He has litigated cases in most counties in southern and central Florida. He was previously admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the Federal District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He is currently a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

Mr. Bertsch aggressively pursues justice with his clients' interests as his singular focus. He knows that when individuals are injured they not only want an attorney to aggressively represent them, but also someone who will do so with empathy and compassion and take the time to listen to them and explain the nuances of their case and the law.

He lives in northern Palm Beach County, has done work for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and is actively involved in several community groups and organizations.
